Venue Information
The Tyson Events Center is a 190,000 square foot multi-purpose facility, located in downtown Sioux City, Iowa. It was built, starting in 2002 and opened on December 17, 2003. The venue features a horseshoe-shaped seating bowl with an end court upper balcony with 10,000 seats and 28 luxury suites. The Tyson Events Center is proud to be the home to the Sioux City Musketeers hockey team and Sioux City Bandits arena football team.
The Tyson Events Center hosts over 140 different events each year, including concerts, sporting events, family shows, trade shows, competitions, religious services, bull riding competitions, commencement ceremonies, lectures, and political rallies among other corporate and community events. The arena is host to the NAIA Women's Division II Basketball National Championship and NAIA Volleyball Championship.
