Accessibility

The Tyson Events Center is committed to providing all patrons the opportunity to enjoy world-class entertainment in Sioux City. For this reason, our staff makes it a priority to accommodate the needs of individuals with disabilities and their companions.

Parking

The Tyson Events Center offers accessible parking in the main parking lot, located between Pierce and Pearl Streets. All guests who wish to park in the reserved spaces must have a state-issued handicapped window pass, sticker, or license plate. The designated spaces located outside the South Box Office entrance are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. It is recommended to arrive early to secure parking.

Accessible Ticketing

Accessible tickets for all events can be purchased online at through Ticketmaster.com by selecting the accessibility tab under the “filters” option for your preferred event, by calling 712-279-4850, or by visiting the Primebank Box Office. To ensure that we have ample seating for all guests who require assistance we have developed these guidelines.

  • Accessible seating will be set aside for all events.
  • Tickets are available on a first-come-first-serve basis to all guests with disabilities.
  • It is our intention to have seats for guests at all price levels.
  • In order to provide ample seating for all guests with disabilities, we have implemented a two-ticket limit per guest with a disability.
  • Additional seats will be made available for parties of more than two people and will be located as close as possible to the other guests in their party.
  • If an event is sold out, all remaining accessible seats will be released for sale to the public 72 hours after the event is sold out or on the day of the event.

Guests who arrive at the Tyson Events Center and require accessible seating but are without accessible seating tickets will be accommodated based on seating availability at the Guest Services booth.

Seating

Accessible seating in every price level is located throughout the building in specific locations depending on the event and location of the stage. When purchasing your tickets, please inform your ticket seller of any special needs you may have that require accommodation.

Assisted Listening Devices

Assisted listening devices are available at the box office for hearing-impaired guests at no cost. The assisted listening device is a headset that broadcasts the Tyson Events Center sound system on an FM frequency. All guests will be required to leave a valid form of identification in order to use the equipment. It is encouraged to make arrangements with the box office prior to the performance.

Sign Interpreters

The Tyson Events Center will make available the use of sign language interpreters. Because sign language interpreter requests typically require two weeks advance notice of a ticketed event for scheduling purposes, requests for an interpreter should be made as far in advance of the event as possible. To make such a request, please contact the box office at 712-279-4850 ext. 6.

Elevators

There are two elevators located inside the Tyson Events Center. One is located on the south side of the arena behind section 105, the other is located on the north side of the arena behind section 111. Both are accessible from main ground-level entrances.

Emergency Evacuations

The Event Staff at the Tyson Events Center have been trained in Emergency Evacuation Procedures and will be available to assist you in the event of an evacuation.

Restrooms

All restrooms located throughout the arena will have accessible sinks and stalls. There are 3 family restrooms located between the main floor and concourse level.

Sensory Processing Needs

The Tyson Events Center has partnered with KultureCity to improve our ability to assist and accommodate guests with sensory needs.

Sensory bags containing special KCVIP badges, fidget tools, noise-canceling headphones and other resources are available for checkout (at no cost by leaving an ID) at our Guest Services Booth located behind section 105.

Prior to attending an event, families can download the free KultureCity App where one can view what sensory features are available and where they can access them. Also, on the App is the Social Story which will provide a preview of what to expect while enjoying an event at

Service Animals

Any guide dog or other service animal that is assisting a guest is more than welcome at all events.

Guest Services

The Tyson Events Center Guest Services desk is located on the main concourse behind section 105. Guest Services provide guests a convenient location to obtain information, offer suggestions, voice concerns, and request assistance during events. If an incident occurs while visiting the venue, please speak with a member of the staff or visit Guest Services at the time the incident occurs.
